Active Ride Shop was a space all its own. What started as a core skateshop in Chino in 1989 would go on to expand into a 30 location staple in the world of Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Surfing and the surrounding cultures. Active started careers for many skateboarders, designers, and brands alike. Always remaining true to what it started as - a skate shop. As it expanded its footprint, Active remained local. It remained a pillar in each community that it found a home in. Active was for the people and it was built by its shops.
From 2010 - 2017 - I worked as Active Ride Shop’s Senior Designer and eventually Creative Director; focusing primarily in its namesake brand Active R/S.
