Shaping a brand - One Board at a Time.
Located in the north part of San Diego, in the coastal town of Oceanside - Lives Chemistry Surfboards. Known for their unique blend of performance, art, and heritage - Chemistry has been making waves and catching them all the same.
Around the time of 2014, my college friend Eric Warner approached me to contribute to the artwork that would be featured on the majority of their surfboards for the 2015 year. The artwork would consist of branding elements, brand history, and a bit of lore in the form of hand brushed typography. The artwork would then be featured in the resin layers of the surfboard and add a unique but timeless look to the tail and details of the surfboard.
