Founded by Utah’s Mike Schneider in 2003/04 - Surface has dedicated itself to being that brand in skiing aimed at doing things a bit differently. From the team, to the art, to the wild camber lines that were commonly mistaken for broken skis - Surface has remained anything but ordinary.
Growing up skiing, it was a lifelong dream to design skis. Working with Mike and the crew at Surface was my first endeavor into the world of ski design and gave me a taste of what was to come with my career at K2.
